Here's what you'll need:
Step 1: Cut 3 strips of fabric, mine are 1.5" wide and 15" long, stack right side up, and hand stitch across the top to keep them together.
Step 2: Braid fabric and tie the fabric in a knot at the end.
Step 3: Roll the braided fabric into a coil and stitch the underside together. Glue clip to back and viola!

Before and After: Faux Bois File Box
Remember the faux bois file box that I picked up at the thrift store? I decided it needed a quick makeover. I picked up some white spray paint and a wooden tag from the craft store. I painted the tag with chalkboard paint and glued it to the dry and finished box. I'm going to store my scrapbook paper in it. I'm sure you can tell I'm a little obsessed with chalkboard paint.
Here's the before...

One Year
One year ago yesterday I married Paul. It was a sunny, warm and windy day. The weather was almost the exact same yesterday.
Because we attend church weekly, we knew that we would be celebrating our anniversary on Saturday instead of Sunday so we went to PF Changs for dinner and then to a play at the performing arts center. We decided to go with the gift tradition "paper" and not be spendy so I ordered him a 2 year subsription to his favorite auto magazine and he bought me a scrapbook paper pack.
I am so thankful for the man God chose to put in my life. He is everything I've ever dreamed of. I truly believe he was God's gift for me. And because I know he reads my blog...happy 1st anniversary Paul! I love you a hundred times a million :)
