Over the Weekend, Briefly

On Friday we hung out with some of our good friends and went to dinner, played mini golf, and ate ice cream. Then on Saturday Paul and I went to the flea market (I'll share my finds tomorrow) and had ice cream afterwards. We I must love ice cream! Saturday evening my sister in-law and nephew were supposed to fly in from California at 7 pm, but didn't end up making it until 3 am...talk about a horrible delay! So we decided to go back home and meet them at my in-laws in Arkansas on Sunday for church. Sunday was my father in-law's 60th birthday. We were going to throw him this big train themed party with all his friends, but all he wanted was a dinner with his whole family on mom's fine china. So we celebrated a little with their church and had cake and fellowship. Then we went home and had that family dinner he wanted.
